Walter Richmond and his family have come to Amsterdam to close
an important business deal. But their hotel is under siege
by fans of a visiting popstar and daughter Melissa gets lost
in the mob. Wandering into a dark courtyard, she accidentally
witnesses a brutal murder and is soon forced on the run. But
who can she turn to for help?..
Pity
poor William Hurt. has his life really come to this? Do
Not Disturb is the type of movie garbage that demonstrates
how not to make a film, so I guess it does serve a purpose
of sorts.
Enter Denis Leary as a 'nice' drug dealer (who does nothing)
and some flat-footed Dutch cops (who do even less). To make
the movie magic really work there's a boat chase and the accidental
death of a rock star that likes sex with children. And all
the while the inhabitants of Amsterdam speak only English
to a girl who can't speak at all. How can they tell she's
foreign?
But
as an entry in the annals of movie history it's not going
to more than the briefest of footnotes. Very bad indeed.
