Scooby-Doo and Shaggy learn that there are things scarier than homework when they visit Miss Grimwood's School for Ghouls only to discover that the girls they have been sent to teach are
daughters of the world's most frightening monsters...

Scooby-Doo and the Ghoul School is flagged up as a full length movie (with a running time of almost 90mins). But it is really two shorter stories stitched together. The first story revolves around the girls training for a volleyball game while the second script sees them kidnapped by the evil Revolta and her spider bat flunkies.

For someone who grew up on Scooby and the gang this movie was painful to watch. Gone are the Mystery Machine, Fred, Velma and Daphne and in their place is Scrappy-Doo! Remember him? Does it send a shiver down your spine? Yes, he was awful.

Even Shaggy's top has changed to red from his traditional green. Why on earth the original format was changed is beyond me. But enough reminiscing. This feature length episode is bad for so many reasons.

Firstly the plot is stretched to breaking point over the duration - 20 minutes would have just about been right. The jokes are just as bad as ever, but this time around they repeat them until the audience feels sick. The female vampire keeps saying "fang-tastic" at every opportunity which is very annoying.

One nice touch was the introduction of the kids parents (Dracula, The Mummy etc) but apart from this, even the stupidest kid will find this dullsville after about 20 minutes.

Please don't buy this! Spend your money on something that has some merits.
