And so it ends... but on one hell of a high note! The final
episodes of our beloved Buffy take us back full circle
to how the show began - female empowerment. It has everything
that made us Buffy fans - comedy, action, suspense
plus a sprinkling of important issues as has always been the
case. Redemption is key in these last episodes, with Faith
returning to fight the good fight, Willow facing up - in many
ways - to the fact she killed a human, plus Andrew's wonderful
Storyteller episode is a real masterpiece and Spike
finally gets redemption, albeit at a high price, in Buffy's
finale - Chosen.
The
final two episodes Joss created for the fans and they are
indeed fan pleasers. Although some complaints were heard -
such as the small amount of time and sorrow given to one main
cast member's death, all in all it'll keep your eyes glued
to the screen as the battle to end all battles and help Buffy
be remembered as one of the best sci-fi shows of recent times.
All
these episodes are of high calibre and really show you why
Buffy was such a hit. All I can say is watch them or
you'll regret it! Yes it's sad it's really over, but you can't
bow out with more style than this and we gotta thank Joss
for seven great years. Hooray that we've still got Angel!
