In a modern fantasy world, college dropout Grace is granted the power of a Muse - power she’ll need to find out the truth behind her predecessor’s death before time runs out. You’ll decide who Grace allies with, who she can trust, and who may betray her in this beautifully hand-illustrated roleplaying musical. Written by David Gaider comes Stray Gods - an urban fantasy tale of finding your place, taking charge of your fate, and discovering answers. Your choices will change the endings, as well as the path you take to get there...

Stray Gods plays like an interactive comic book

Back, through the mists of time, there was a brief period when animated graphic novels were all the rage. Stray Gods revisits that niche craze by delivering what feels like an interactive comic. What's great about this is that there's a lot of replay value, as you can return time and time again to explore what unfolds if you choose a different path.

The game is really an interactive movie in graphic novel form, where you have multiple choices spread over the game's duration. It's engaging and impressively ambitious. Having said that, it won't be to everyone's tastes. If you don't know what you're letting yourself in for, you could be forgiven for thinking that the opening is a cut sequence before the action begins. So if you get bored in the first few minutes then it's unlikely that you'll warm to this.

However, if you like deep story led games with a lot of depth and character, then you should find this to be a fun and challenging experience.

Fans of musicals will love what the game does with the format

The game is packed with original, fully interactive musical numbers composed by Grammy-nominated composer Austin Wintory, Tripod (musicians Scott Edgar, Steven Gates, and Simon Hall) and Eurovision Australia’s own Montaigne (Jess Cerro). Fully orchestrated and performed by an all-star cast. With thousands of potential variations based on your choices, you can craft the soundtrack to your own one of a kind musical experience.

Delve into a hidden world of mythic Greek gods and monsters in way like never before.
