Michalis Andronikou delivers an interesting, and intricate, score for The Northlander. Over the course of these 14 tracks (35 min, 36 sec) our understanding of the movie's universe grows as Andronikou fleshes out the environment through his music.

From the minimalist 'A Past Era' to the more complex 'An Old Foe' this is one album where diversity is beautifully painted in rich colours.

This will make an interesting addition to any film score lover's collection.
