MovieScore Media release Scott Glasgow's religiously inspired music for The Curse of Sleeping Beauty. Directed by Pearry Teo, the film is a dark re-imagining of the classic Brothers Grimm story. Thomas Kaiser inherits a mansion that has been in his family for generations, only to learn that he has also inherited an ancient curse dating from the age of the crusades. Forced into his new role as "protector", the guardian appointed to keep the evil demons in the house at bay, Thomas must unravel the mystery of the house, while struggling to awake the beautiful Sleeping Beauty...

Scott Glasgow's score for The Curse of Sleeping Beauty contains a handful of epic themes as well as a number of gothic atmospheric pieces. If you're a fan of creepy, loud horror scores, in a similar vein to Christopher Young's work on Hellraiser, then you'll feel right at home here.

The soundtrack houses 22 tracks (1 hr, 42 sec) with highlights including the Hellraiser-esque 'The Curse of Sleeping Beauty' and 'Kaiser Garden Research'; The more subtle 'The Jinn'; and impressive examples of suspenseful chase music in 'Somnium IV' and 'Chase the Devil'.

While not an essential purchase, there are enough Interesting pieces of music to make this worth seeking out if you're a fan of epic, horror scores.
